Eavor’s unique presence at the 2023 Geothermal Rising Conference was demonstrated with the return of The Obelisk; a brand asset managed by Business on Camera (BOC).
The Obelisk represents innovation, a small surface footprint, and a new way of harvesting heat from the Earth.
The cultural symbol was born from the 1968 book 2001: A Space Odyssey, in which a hominid group witnessed the appearance of an obelisk, or “the monolith,” and its presence was the catalyst to the invention of tools.
Much like how the monolith spurred a new age of technology, The Obelisk represents Eavor’s trail-blazing approach to scaling clean technology, and utilizing a nearly limitless energy source radiating from the centre of the Earth.
Previously, Eavor has used The Obelisk in Belgium, at a Flames game, and at conferences in New York and Reno, NV. Each side of the structure has its own monitor, displaying videos that demonstrate an in-depth story about Eavor’s technology.
Since the inauguration of Eavor’s first commercial power plant in Geretsried, Eavor is shifting out of its start-up phase and is now planning the global deployment of its technology. Hundreds of projects are within the company’s pipeline, and are expected to come online in the coming years.
